What this site collects
This website belongs to Avante Realty Group LLC, a Virginia real estate brokerage owned by Linda S Freeman. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.
When you fill out a form on this site, such as a contact form, a home value request or a guide download, we collect what you type in: your first and last name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, your message if you write one, and the answers to any extra questions that form asks, such as what kind of property you're looking for.
If you give a phone number and agree to receive text messages, we also record that you agreed, the exact wording you agreed to, and when.
Beyond what you type into a form, the site does not ask for anything about you. Like every website, the company that hosts it keeps standard server logs, such as the date and time of a visit and the type of browser used, to keep the site running and secure.
Who receives it
We use a few trusted services to run this website and to keep track of your inquiry. They handle your information only to provide that service to us.
The home search on our listings page is provided by IDX Broker, and the maps by Google Maps. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply.
We do not sell your information, and we do not give it to other agents or lenders unless you ask us to connect you with one.
If you list your home with us, we go over at the listing appointment whether your listing goes into the MLS and out to the real estate websites that share MLS listings. That choice is yours.
How it is used
We use your information to answer your question, to help you buy or sell real estate, and to follow up about that.
We may also send you newsletters, local market updates, and new listings that match what you've told us you're looking for. Every one of those emails has a way to unsubscribe, and once you do, we stop.
We keep your information until you ask us to delete it. You can ask at any time, using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call you about your inquiry. We only send text messages to people who agreed to receive them on our form.
Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and we will not text you again unless you ask us to. You can also call or email us and ask us to stop calling.
How we protect your information
This website uses a secure, encrypted connection, and we take care to protect what you share with us. We never sell your information.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or email us using the details below and we'll take care of it.
Some records may need to be kept after a transaction because real estate law requires brokerages to keep transaction files for a period of time. If that applies to you, we'll tell you.
